This is the best and most reliable app pulling AIS data. Both the Lite and Pro versions are accurate. I spent the last couple of days troubleshooting an AIS problem on my boat. MarineTraffic and VesselFinder were not providing reliable data. Even worse their websites didnt provide the same data as their iOS apps! Only FindShip is showing reliable and consistent data for my boat in the Chesapeake Bay.

My son is a towboat tanker-man. It makes me worry less if I can see where his boat is. The app is accurate and very stable.

Have to say that this app is the best we have tried. Quick, fun, and loaded with information. And thats the free app! Imagine the upgrade!

Been looking ship finder app and finally got this one and very pleased with its features and surprisingly accurate details. Keep up the good work dev team!

As a captain, i found that this app is the best app among its category, its much better than mairnetraffic or any other AIS Tracking softwares in the Appstore, and have much more coverage areas than any other app.. I recommend this app for all people how are interested in shipping.. 2 thumbs up...

Im not a professional boat watcher but this app has what I need to follow the one or two boats I am net rested in.

Some bad moments

I tried to follow a friend on a world tour. After finding the boat it never moved (3 days). I check with friend and they where now through Suez Canal. I sunk the app.

This is good among to the other apps i have paid out there. This one have more, wide coverage and refreshes automatically. The only thing i can suggest to the next update, i hope the developer will categorized the type of ships in color to make it easy to determined which is Tanker, Cargo, etc. Four stars for the moment.

I saw a ship from the beach and wanted to know what it was. I quickly downloaded several ship tracking apps. This was the only app that found the ship. The info for the ship said it was heading for Galveston. I track it the whole way to Texas. Its now moored. Just for fun, I am now tracking other ships. I have deleted those other ship tracking apps. Bottom line, this one works and the others didnt.

This app is wonderful.& is reliable.Im glad that the App Store has apps like this.Its really awesome.

This is one of my most enjoyable apps. It is veerrrry interesting to play with.

Very useful, user friendly and resourcing but you cant find all the vessels :/
